Polymer box valve bags
Polymer box valve bags
AD*STAR® Polypropylene Box Bags
Polypropylene box-type bags are manufactured using the technology and equipment of the world's leading manufacturer — Starlinger company (Austria). For 50 years, the company has been developing advanced solutions for polymer recycling and industrial packaging production.
One of the most famous Starlinger developments is the AD*STAR® valve bags of box-type, combining the advantages of paper and polymer bags. The highest quality raw materials and components are used in the production of bags, so the products meet all the requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs Union TR CU 005/2011 'On packaging safety'.
Application of Polypropylene Box Bags
Due to their increased strength and convenient shape, AD*STAR® flap-top box bags are used for packaging, storage, and transportation of various bulk materials and products. They are commonly used for packing cement, lime, fertilizers, dry construction mixes, food products, animal feed, etc.
Unlike paper bags, polypropylene products are lighter in weight, withstand a higher bulk weight, and are not susceptible to moisture.
Flap-top bags are convenient for loading on automatic packing lines.
After filling, box bags take on a rectangular shape, making them easy to palletize, store, and transport.
Construction of Polypropylene Box Bags
We produce bags of the following types:
- flap-top box bags
- box bags with open mouth
All bags are made only from laminated PP fabric.
Flap-top AD*STAR® bags with perforation are used for packing bulk cargoes such as cement, lime, etc. Micro-holes in the bag fabric provide gas permeability and allow air to freely leave the bag during material loading.
There are two types of perforation:
- microperforation
- nanoperforation
Nanoperforation technology is more advanced and, while maintaining the same bag strength, significantly increases the volume of air exiting the bag, reducing the loading time of the product.
Flap-top bags with open mouth can be equipped with a PE liner. The liner reliably protects the loaded product from moisture, dust, foreign odors, and spillage. Liners can be made of LDPE or HDPE.
The standard color of the bag fabric is white. Bags can also be made from colored fabric and with a transparent strip for visual content control.
Printing Technologies
Bags with the company logo or product image printed on them are an effective advertising medium and attract consumer attention.
We have the most advanced equipment that allows printing using various methods:
Flexographic Printing (up to 6 colors)
Allows you to get a concise and elegantly made package with simple means.
Suitable for mass print runs as well as for small volume batches when there are no special requirements for the number of colors and gradients.
If you need to print only text or a simple image on the bags, this type of printing will be the optimal choice.
Full-Fledged Flexographic Printing
Suitable for creating bright and attractive packaging that stands out from competitors.
Almost photorealistic quality of printed images on the bag surface.
Thanks to smooth gradients and high resolution, most color shades are reproduced.
This type of printing looks especially advantageous on PP bags with glossy lamination.
This type of printing practically replaces deep rotogravure printing.
Advantages of AD*STAR® Box Bags
- High strength, resistance to impacts and rough handling.
- Moisture resistance due to lamination.
- Possibility of flexographic and photo printing.
- Convenient shape for transportation and compact storage.
- Very light weight of empty bags.
- Patented bag sealing technology without glue.
