Polypropylene Fabric

  • Polypropylene fabric is in demand in many industries and has a host of advantages:

    • High strength and wear resistance, long service life.
    • Wide range of applications, ease of processing and use.
    • Environmentally friendly and safe for people and the environment, possibility of recycling.
    • Ability to order products with the required characteristics (density, size, color, etc.).
    • Possibility of printing.
  • Production of polypropylene fabric

    • The fabric is produced on equipment from the world-renowned leader in polymer processing — Starlinger (Austria). Thanks to years of experience, proprietary innovative technologies, and developments, the company's name has long become synonymous with 'quality'.

    • The production process uses only the highest quality raw materials and additives. The fabric is manufactured on modern circular looms of models FX 6.1 (HD), FX 8.0, and FX 10.0 — for big bags (FIBC containers) and Alpha 6.0 — for sacks.

    • The production volume of the fabric reaches 3,500 tons per month.

    • Thanks to the addition of UV stabilizers, the PP fabric is resistant to sunlight, and the amount of light-stabilizing additives is regulated and strictly controlled.

    • Quality control of the products is carried out in the enterprise's laboratory, where the fabric undergoes regular tests for tensile strength, UV radiation, and other impacts.

  • Application of polypropylene fabric

  • Polypropylene bags with liner
    • PP fabric bags are one of the most common and versatile types of packaging.

    • Our own full-cycle production allows us to produce woven PP bags of various sizes and types: standard sewn and valve-type box bags.

  • Manufacture of Big Bags (soft containers), wagon liners, and Liner Bags
    • When sewing big bags, various types of UV-stabilized polypropylene fabric are used. The choice of fabric parameters depends on the type of container, its load capacity and reliability requirements, cargo characteristics, and conditions of its transportation and storage.

    • In the manufacture of single and double loop containers, polypropylene fabric with a density of 120 to 160 g/m2 and a sleeve width of 120–160 cm is usually used. In most cases, a sleeve width of 150 cm with a density of 140 g/m2.

    • The fabric used for the load-bearing shell of four-loop big bags may have a density of up to 200 g/m2 and a width of up to 210 cm.

    • Fabric of lesser density, including laminated ones, may be used for manufacturing structural elements of soft containers (loading and unloading spouts, skirts).

    • Polypropylene liners for wagons and containers (liner bags) are used to protect cargoes transported in open wagons and sea containers from adverse environmental factors and spillage. PP fabric with a density of 90–140 g/m2 is used for their production.

  • Manufacture of tarps, covers, and shelters
    • Tarps and covers made of polypropylene fabric allow for multiple uses and are designed for long-term operation even in adverse weather conditions. Tarps are used to create temporary awnings in construction and warehousing, to protect agricultural produce from precipitation, and are used as shelters for materials and equipment.

  • Use in construction and furniture production
    • Polypropylene fabric is used in the construction of buildings and structures as a hydro- and vapor barrier material for roofs, walls, and foundations.

    • As geotextile - in the construction of roads and landscape design.

    • In drilling operations, fabric mats protect the surface layer of the soil from contamination.

    • In furniture production, PP fabric has found its application as a universal upholstery material in the manufacture of upholstered furniture.
