FOUR LOOP BIG BAGS (FIBCs)

4-loops Big Bags can be produced using both tubular and flat polypropylene fabric. Lift loops of woven polypropylene tapes are sewn into the corners (corner seam loops) or near the corners of the container (cross corner loops), forming four grasping points in the form of lifting slings.

This type of large-sized packaging is widely used in almost all industries. Versatile 4-loops Big Bags allow changing their sizes and specifications in a wide range as well as adjusting their capacity, selecting additional elements and models.

Thus, the packaging can be adapted to the transported cargo and the needs of the customer. This means that they can carry all types of bulk industrial (including dangerous) and food products weighing from 200 kg to 3,000 kg.

Depending on the customer’s requirements, containers of this type can have a safety factor of SF 5:1, 6:1 or 8:1, which indirectly determines the number of times they can be reused. SF 5:1 containers are intended for single use, SF 6:1 and SF 8:1 can be reused, provided that all structural elements remain intact.

White polypropylene fabric with a density of 120 to 200 g/m2 and a width of 120–200 cm is usually used to produce four-loops bulk containers. You can also order fabric containers with other colours and characteristics.

STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF BULK CONTAINERS

CONTAINER TOP AND LOADING:

  • open top
  • filling spout
  • filling spout and safety valve
  • top skirt (duffle)
  • top flap

The filling spout is a hose sewn to the cover of the container made of polypropylene fabric. The spout allows loading products into the container with minimal risk of spillage and pulverisation. At the end of loading the spout is folded and tied up with a drawstring.

The top cover in the form of a skirt allows closing the top of the bag after loading by tying the pleat with a drawstring.

The top flap is sewn onto one side of the container and secured with strap to the other sides after loading.

CONTAINER BOTTOM AND UNLOADING:

  • flat bottom
  • discharge spout with safety valve
  • discharge spout with safety valve and flap

When unloading Big Bags with a flat bottom, the fabric at the bottom of the container is cut or ripped off with special knives and unloaders.

The version with a discharge spout on the bottom enables controlled unloading and partial unloading of products.
The safety valve protects the discharge spout and its drawstring against damage and snags.

liner insertion

To ensure tightness and maximum safety of the cargo, the bulk container can have a polyethylene liner with a thickness of 60 to 150 microns. Liners are of three types: flat, form-fit (with a neck) and heat-resistant.

CUSTOM PRINTABLE

We can print inscriptions or images on Big Bags using colour flexographic printing (up to 4 colours). The printed image will be contrasting, durable and visible from afar. This is an effective way to increase your brand awareness.
